I am writing to provide you with an update to our annual meeting, that was scheduled to be held on March 21, 2020 at Lynches River State Park.
In light of recent preparations for dealing with the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation in the US, and our concern for the well-being of our members and staff, we are postponing our annual meeting.
On Sunday March 15, 2020, Governor Henry McMaster, announced the statewide closure of schools and discouraged the gathering of more than 100 people. The CDC recommends the postponement of events that consist of 50 or more people. Palmetto First FCU values our membership and we do not want to contribute to the spread of the virus amongst our membership or staff. We will announce the rescheduled date in the coming weeks.
